Work · Platform development
One platform. Still theirs to change.
Adaptig wanted to bring its business software together without giving up the ability to improve it with AI. The freedom to make changes was part of what the new platform needed to preserve.
01
The situation
The business was running on a collection of AI-built apps and Odoo. Those tools were useful, but their separation made the overall system harder to manage.
The founders wanted a unified platform that they could continue to change themselves. Consolidating the software and preserving that independence were parts of the same brief.
02
The work
Status: active engagement, migrating in phases
We are bringing the applications and Odoo-related workflows into a shared platform, in phases so the business keeps running underneath. Administrative and course-content operations are accessible through Model Context Protocol interfaces, so AI tools work through defined operations.
We also built an editing environment into the site, with guardrails intended to make AI-assisted changes more controlled. It gives the team a way to keep evolving the platform alongside the consolidation work.

03
What is changing
The business is moving into a more coherent system while keeping the founders’ ability to make changes with AI.
So far that has meant a better experience for tutors and students, and day-to-day work that is less stressful and less error-prone for the founders.
04
The important part
A platform can be easier to maintain while giving the people who run the business more freedom. In this project, that was a requirement to design for from the beginning.
